This is ulceration of the mucus coming in contact with acid. Patients whose symptoms are like endoscopy are labeled as non ulcer dyspepsia now a days it is also termed as acid peptic disease. it is also more common than gastric ulcer. Mucosal injury and ulceration occur with alcohol, chillies, excessive tea, coffee, salicylates, aspirins, naproxen, bile salts, excessive smoke, mental strain etc. Results are excellent in acupuncture, operation can be avoided.
